Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Vittorio Spinelli, who publishes the vicksoft.it website and the VickSoft apps. VickSoft is just the name under which the apps are published, not a company. For any request about personal data: supporto@vicksoft.it.

This policy describes the data processed by the website, the Member Area and the apps, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data Processed While Browsing the Site

Most pages of the site record every request in an access log, for security and to diagnose technical problems. For each request the following is saved:

• date and time
• IP address
• user agent (browser and operating system)
• requested page, HTTP method and referring page (referer)
• session identifier and, if signed in, the user name

The site does not use statistical analysis, advertising or profiling tools. Pages load graphic libraries (Bootstrap, jQuery) from content delivery networks (CDNs) such as jsDelivr: for this reason the visitor's IP address is visible to those providers. Cookies are described in the cookie policy.

If you write to supporto@vicksoft.it, your email address and the content of the message are used only to reply.

3. Member Area

The Member Area is a personal space that is not public and is accessible by invitation only: there is no open sign-up. For those who use it, the following is processed:

• sign-in credentials (email and password, stored only in encrypted form) and, if enabled, two-factor authentication
• the data entered by the user: transactions and accounts, workouts, car data, reminders and preferences
• friends and shared expenses: name and, optionally, email and photo of the people entered by the user, used only for shared expenses and email notifications
• the device register: user agent, IP address and access dates of the devices used to sign in, to recognize trusted ones and warn about a new sign-in
• service emails (password reset, new-device alerts, reminders and notifications)

Data is processed to provide the features requested by the invited user and, for the access log and the device register, for the controller's legitimate interest in the security of the site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). It is neither sold nor passed on to third parties: it is hosted by the site's hosting provider (Netsons) on behalf of the controller.

4. Data Retention

Data is kept for these periods:

• access log: 6 months, then automatically deleted
• device register and Member Area data: until deleted by the user or until the account is deleted
• messages sent to support: for as long as needed to reply and handle the request

5. Sessagesimale App

The Sessagesimale app for iPhone and iPad works offline, with no account and no data collection by the controller:

• calculation history and memory stay on your device only and are not sent to anyone
• the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking
• the only connection is to the App Store, needed to buy and restore the full version: the purchase is handled entirely by Apple and the controller does not receive your payment details
• the compass, the Apple Watch app and Shortcuts actions process data on the device only; the compass requires no location permission

6. FiveDiceBT App

The FiveDiceBT app for iPhone and iPad works with no account and no data collection by the controller:

• no account is required to play
• the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking
• the only network communication is the direct Bluetooth or local Wi-Fi connection (Multipeer Connectivity) between the players' devices in the same game: no server is used and game data never leaves the devices involved

7. Calcola Durata Filmati App

The Calcola Durata Filmati app for Mac works offline, with no account and no data collection by the controller:

• the chosen folders and videos are read on the Mac only and the report stays on the device
• no data is sent to the controller or to third parties

8. Data Subject Rights

Anyone whose personal data is processed has the right to:

• access their personal data
• rectify inaccurate data
• request deletion of data
• restrict processing or object to it
• request data portability
• withdraw consent, where processing is based on it
• lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it)

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be subject to change. Any changes will be published on this page along with the update date.
