1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and later sent back to the same websites on your next visit. The owner of the site is Vittorio Spinelli (see the privacy policy).

2. Cookies Used

The site uses only technical cookies, needed for it to work. It uses no analytics, profiling or third-party cookies. These are the cookies set:

• PHPSESSID: session cookie: keeps the browsing session open and, in the Member Area, the sign-in. It lasts one hour from the last activity.
• vs_lang: remembers the chosen language (Italian or English). It is created only if you switch language with the IT/EN button and lasts one year.
• vicksoft_device_N: Member Area only (N is the user number): recognizes the device after sign-in, for two-factor authentication and so it can be signed out. It lasts one year.

The light/dark theme and, in the Member Area, the sidebar state are saved in the browser (localStorage), not in a cookie: they stay on the device and are not sent to the site.

3. Consent and Banner

Since the cookies are technical only, the user's consent is not required and the site shows no banner. The site does not embed analytics, advertising or social network tools.

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Below are links to instructions for the main browsers:

If technical cookies are disabled, sign-in to the Member Area does not work and the chosen language is not remembered.
